Frimpong charged by FA for anti-Semitic slur

Well it's nice to know that the MLS Disciplinary Board aren't the only ones who make confusing and decisions.

LONDON -- Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has been charged by the English Football Association with improper conduct for allegedly posting anti-Semitic comments on Twitter.

The FA says Frimpong used a "reference to ethnic origin, faith or race" in response to an abusive tweet aimed at him on Sunday. The post has since been removed.

In a statement on its website, the FA said Tuesday that Frimpong is suspected of posting comments "amounting to improper conduct and/or which brought the game into disrepute."

The soccer body gave Frimpong until July 27 to respond to the charge.

The 20-year-old player is recovering from knee injury while on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

What's confusing about that you ask? Well what makes no sense to me is that they have charged Frimpong but haven't done a THING about Rio Ferdinands "Choco ice" comments. I guess if Frimpong were Jewish maybe he wouldn't have been punished. I don't know. Trying to understand disciplinary committees is like trying to understand women...neither one has much common sense. That was a joke ladies please don't send me complaints about this. You know I love you.
