Great move for Geoff Cameron! It's nice to see another American playing in the Premier League. Plus it will be nice to not ahve to play against him in the Texas Derby. Oh I'm sorry is my FC Dallas showing??
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Stoke has agreed on a fee and personal terms with American defender Geoff Cameron.
Financial terms were not disclosed between the English Premier League team and Cameron's Houston Dynamo.
The 27-year-old Cameron was to meet touring Stoke in Orlando on Thursday for a medical exam, and his transfer was also subject to him receiving a British work permit.
Stoke was attracted to Cameron by his ability to play in defense and midfield. He was a Major League Soccer All-Star last year, and has made five appearances for the U.S. national team.
