Bombs are going off in Ukraine

NewsCore- Ukraine-At least eight people were injured Monday after an explosion on a tram in the central Ukrainian city of Dnipropetrovsk, the Interfax news agency reported.

Witnesses said that two men received burns to the hands in the incident. At least six other passengers suffered injuries.

Passengers aboard the tram panicked in the moments after the explosion, and the driver quickly opened the tram's doors to let people disembark.

The incident comes after four explosions in the same city left 27 people injured in April. Those explosions were caused by bombs placed in a trash can, outside a movie theater, near a railway station and in a public park.

There were no fatalities caused by the April 27 blasts, however several people were hospitalized.
The Ukraine and Poland are currently playing host to the Euro 2012 soccer tournament, but Dnipropetrovsk will not hold any games.
