Bocanegra injury update

A little something for the 3 women that pay any attention to his blog. You're welcome ladies.

Well the news doesn't seem to be any worse than any of us expected it to be. His fitness won't be 100% by February but Boca is a seasoned veteran who hopefully won't be incredibly effected by this.

Via AP-SANTANDER, Spain -- Spanish club Racing Santander says U.S. defender Carlos Bocanegra will be sidelined for six weeks because of a muscle tear in his left leg.

Bocanegra was injured during the United States' 2-2 draw with Russia on Nov. 14.

Bocanegra is playing for Racing in Spain's second division on loan from Scottish side Rangers.

He shouldn't miss any time with the American national side, set to resume play against Honduras on Feb 6.
